Must Have Kitchen Appliances
November 21, 2024Chefs who spend a lot of their time in the kitchen will probably like to have modern appliances to make cooking easy.
We need a microwave to get food hot in no time, and soup makers to make healthy drinks at home.
Fridge/Freezer
Keeping your kitchen stock fresh and nutritious requires refrigeration so that the bacteria don’t form which shortens the shelf life and keeps food fresh longer.
Refrigerators: Set fridges to 40 deg F or lower and freezers to 0 deg F or below. : Recheck the refrigerator and freezer temperature regularly with an appliance thermometer designed for cold temperatures.
Refrigerators and freezers waste way too much energy based on the amount of times the doors are open and closed, so keep your doors always shut to save energy. As much energy as possible keep them shut tight.
Oven
The oven is part of any great kitchen. Not only can you make cakes and roast potatoes in it, you can even reheat leftovers. It’s also got multiple heat sources if you’re doing braising or searing!
There are two types of ovens – either as part of a range or as a separate piece called a wall oven. An oven with a stovetop is a range, and you can use a range in both gas and electric mode, and they’re ideal for smaller kitchens as you won’t have to go through the trouble of getting separate stove and oven.
: You may want a countertop solution to an oven but would like a microwave-like air-fried option from a toaster oven. These dual purpose machines boil water faster than ovens and move hot air to give you that perfect fried-crumble finish without adding cooking oil.
Microwave
There are microwave ovens that we usually use in our kitchens. Whether you’re heating up leftovers or preparing food for a party, microwaves use less energy and electricity than an oven, yet still preserve nutrients lost by boiling and steaming that sap nutrients from foods.
Microwave ovens do not only defrost foods but many are also oven-like – with some oven-like products, you can even make cakes and cookies! Built-in microwaves installed at eye level provide a clean and integrated look to your kitchen that is attractive to the eyes of homebuyers and make it easy for even the most advanced cooks to work. And, Microwaves… a kitchen must be easier for all!
Water Purifier
Water Purifier is a must have for all kitchens. Filtration systems sift the tap water of minerals and sediments that are dangerous for drinking, as well as odours or tastes to improve your family’s drinking and cooking experiences. Water purifiers could also stop scale accumulation on water-using heating elements, pipes or appliances that use water and thus compromise efficiency, use more energy, last less or don’t perform as well – a worthwhile purchase for any home! Additionally, filters will save a lot of energy on your bills thanks to the decreased electric usage; it’s an equipment for any house.
Juicer
A juicer is a kitchen must-have, it removes pulp (fiber) from your fruits and vegetables so you have a pulp that’s packed with vitamins and minerals. Juicer works great for smoothies, sorbets, etc.
Home slow juicers run at low speeds to crush, press, and squeeze produce with little heat or oxidation so more vitamins, minerals, and enzymes remain in your juicer drink. They are also multipurpose: great for making nutritious leafy green snacks or hard fruits for healthy dishes, while still occupying little space! Reverse-plug small appliances before cleaning to avoid short circuiting or shock and clean according to the user guide, if you know what to do. Clean your juicer immediately after every use to save nutrients that would otherwise go into waste.
